The lives of seven disparate people revving up for the Millennium celebrations on the night of December 31st 1999 collide in the Belfast-set black comedy, based on the play by Derry-born writer, Lisa McGee.
With a cast of characters including novice no-brain hitmen, would-be suicide-cases and glitzy gals geared up for a night on the tiles, Jump! has garnered for its writer comparisons to the Coen brothers and looks set to be one of the most innovative features to emerge from Northern Ireland in years.
Adapted from her own play by award-winning stand-up comedian, Lisa McGee, Jump! is currently being developed by Hot Shot Films in association with the Northern Ireland Film Commission, with production beginning early in 2007.
